Sunburst tag punch flowers

I think this next card is one of my favorites ever. I made it for a Punch challenge on SCS. I wanted something different and remembered seeing a tutorial for using the tag punches to create sunburst flowers. So I started digging for it and finally found it. You can find it here.

It took a little time to do all the punching, gluing, and cutting, but I think it was definitely worth the effort. I hope you like it too and give this technique a try!

I've been so busy working on Swaps that I just haven't had a chance to post. Sooo, I'm going to post several cards at once. I hope you like them. LMK!!





Here's a card I've worked on for a Green Galore swap on SCS. I decided to go with a St. Patrick's Day. I think it turned out very cute!!






This card was for a black /white/ and silver/gray challenge. It was much harder than I anticipated it would be be, but I believe the white embossing and silver CB punched circle helps it pop. It's hard to see the silver, but try it and see how it looks for you!!










This was a fun card to make. It needed to remind me of spring and summer. The flowers and butterflies along with the prima flowers and DP was just the ticket. I love how the yellow and sage green/light teal work together.










This was a fun challenge! The idea was to make a pocket card using the new SU! Incolors. I think I managed to incorporate all of them except the tangerine. I love the riding hood red ribbon and the embellishment ribbon around the curves of the pocket card. I thought it turned out great! In the next picture, you can see the inside of the pocket card.






Sorry I can't rotate it, but you get the idea. Love this project. I'll be back tomorrow with more!!!

A couple of projects to show today. One is an altered paint can that I made for an SCS swap. I made a Christmas Survival Kit out of it and included good smelling lotions, bath gels, pedicure items, and an ornament. I think it turned out cute.

Also I needed a new card to use for my part in the welcoming committee on SCS. I found this cute $1 stamp at Michaels and incorporated SU's 09 incolors for the card. Cute, cute, cute! Let me know what you think!!!
