I tried to come up with a clever sentiment and decided on Have a "Nutty" Christmas!!! Yes, I know it's corny, but I thought it was cute.
I also made a set of these cards for Viv's JLO Christmas swap on SCS. Hope you like it!!!

Guess what's happening in Kentucky this weekend?
It's DERBY WEEKEND. Today is Oaks Day, tomorrow is Derby Day.
Do you want to learn more about the 135th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville? Check it out! There is also this neat quiz...where you can test your horse lingo.
So what's the KY Derby all about? Well...obviously, there's the horses. How about all the television stars, movie stars, country music stars, hats, flowers, fashion, royalty, food...I wouldn't knowWHERE to start with the food...Derby Pie, Mint Juleps, buffet...
I'm really likin' the big flowery hats. Yep...you read Mollymoo right...big flowery hats. Check 'em out. Aren't they fun?
Back to the horses, Jess has this cute pony in her store. Check out this guy...Future Rodeo Star...but he's still young...maybe he's to be a future winner of the Run for the Roses!
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to play along with the JLO DT and create something with JLO stamps inspired by the 135th Kentucky Derby. There's no time limit. If you don't have any JLO stamps, why not check out the FREE Brentwood digi stamp?
If you upload your project to SplitCoastStampers, use keywords JLOIC01 (JessicaLynnOriginal Inspiration Challenge 01). Additional keywords for this project could be Brentwood and/or JessicaLynnOriginal.
I'm looking forward to seeing your creations!
Open that starting gate and let those creative juices flow.
Run...baby...run!

out these 2 cards that were made for my SCS Beach swap! Aren't they awesome??? I can just hear the waves and smell the salt air!!! I'm ready for the beach!!!

This card was for a black /white/ and silver/gray challenge. It was much harder than I anticipated it would be be, but I believe the white embossing and silver CB punched circle helps it pop. It's hard to see the silver, but try it and see how it looks for you!!
This was a fun card to make. It needed to remind me of spring and summer. The flowers and butterflies along with the prima flowers and DP was just the ticket. I love how the yellow and sage green/light teal work together.
This was a fun challenge! The idea was to make a pocket card using the new SU! Incolors. I think I managed to incorporate all of them except the tangerine. I love the riding hood red ribbon and the embellishment ribbon around the curves of the pocket card. I thought it turned out great! In the next picture, you can see the inside of the pocket card.
